Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) purpose is to ignite the potential in youth by pairing them with mentors who provide guidance, support, and positive role models to help them achieve their full potential.
As the graphic designer on the BBBS in-house design team, I was assigned by the VP of Marketing to create artwork for the lobby wall that would spark conversation and raise awareness about the mission of BBBS. This led to the creation of the CHAOS OF HOPE series, which explores the challenges many children face and the hope that emerges from these struggles. The first panel depicts the chaos children experience when surrounded by instability, insecurity, and conflicting ideologies. The second panel highlights the hope that a positive influence brings, calming the chaos and offering mentorship. The final piece illustrates how a supportive figure creates order and stability, enabling the child to develop a more balanced and optimistic outlook.
