I Love Music Gear is an apparel brand that embraces the power of music while challenging the corporate restraints that stifle creativity and innovation. The brand’s bold message serves as both a celebration of music and a rebellion against the industry’s bureaucracy.
The owner approached me to create edgy, music-inspired apparel designs that would make a strong statement and appeal to both male and female audiences. The only requirement? Each design had to include the provocative tagline: “I Love Music, but the Music Industry Sucks.”
Embracing the rebellious nature of the brand, I crafted visually striking designs using bold icons and imagery that symbolized the ongoing struggles within the music industry. These unique designs resonated with music lovers and were later made available for purchase through the brand’s online store.
Sadly, the owner of I Love Music Gear unexpectedly passed away. This project stands as a heartfelt tribute to him and is shared in honor of his memory and creative spirit.
